Flames Hot Spots from their win over Las Vegas Sunday night.

The Tkachuk Factor

The last time these two teams met, the best player on the ice was Matthew Tkachuk.

He did it all, playing with that nasty edge.

Leaving the ice, he was chirping at the Vegas players saying "see you Sunday."

He was pissed off.

Then on Sunday, he showed he was dead serious scoring his first ever hat trick.

He now has 29 goals.

He was even better than he was Wednesday.

The 3rd line was solid scoring 10 points playing well in both zones.

Bad Second

The Flames tried to give it away in the second period.

They gave up two quick goals that tied the game.

Thankfully they tightened up enough for the win. Snapping an ugly 4 game losing streak and a 6 game Vegas winning streak.

Big Win

The Flames are one point up on San Jose on top of the Pacific.

10 points up on Vegas.

A very real first-round matchup between these two which would be a heated series, to say the least.

Best to have home-ice advantage.
